Craig Carrier, Partner of Climb-Ax, LLP, said: “Not everyone is capable of
handling this type of clean-up after the shortfall of funding and budget cuts
from our city. When we were asked to team with Reisert Insurance and Metro
United Way in relief efforts of the storm debris clean-up, we were more than
happy to assist. This is just one more way to fulfill our service to the
community by helping those who were not able to have their yards cleaned
following the aftermath of Ike. Volunteering one's time and heart provides a
self-satisfaction unequalled by any other pursuit. While it is easier to give
in good times, it becomes more difficult when facing economic hardship. We
can’t let the hard times keep us from being charitable people and doing what
is right. I have helped to create a successful business with the belief that
if I take care of the business, the business will take care of me. This moral
relates to all aspects of life, and we believe that it is both an obligation
and a privilege to give back to the caring community in which we reside.”
